Current- The app no longer asks a third-party server, in the clear, where you are. That lookup happens before the tunnel is up, so it travelled over whatever network you were on — a cafe, a hotel — and told anyone watching your city and provider.
- It now asks Room VPN over the app's own pinned connection, so the network you are on learns nothing and cannot alter the answer.
